We offer the best chefs from all over Europe interesting working conditions on their home turf while they can share experiences with their colleagues from other countries and continue to inspire both themselves and us through their creativity.

Every year we look forward to seeing old friends as well as new faces at this very special party for those who enjoy good food and company. Dear colleagues, please remember your ID and drinks coupons for this event! We look forward to a relaxed party with a little more structure than usual. Our chefs will do their utmost to show you the best of traditional French cuisine at its finest, so let yourself be tempted by exquisite dishes straight out of the ovens, carefully prepared fish dishes and tasty little snacks. The wines will convince even the most demanding guests – so come along and enjoy!

We have got a great variety of dishes to introduce to you:

– Traditional French Onion Soup

– Seared Scallops with Strawberry Mango Salsa and Citrus Sauce

– Roasted Cod with Braised Fennel and Petite Potatoes

– Mini Duck Confit Spring Rolls with Rosemary Aioli and Pickled Carrots

– Crème Brûlée Tartlet with Fresh Berries

And you can look forward to a cooking demonstration by our R&D chef. Here, he will explain the ingredients of the dishes in detail, why we chose this or that product and offer tips on how to cook similar dishes at home. Come along and enjoy!

What to expect when you come for our event ?

An evening of great food, fine wines and spectacular entertainment. We have got one of the best wine and cocktail mixologists in town. We will have live stations where you can learn to make 5 different cocktails. If you are more of a foodie, Chef Gaston will teach you how to prepare your meal like the pros.

Who cares about what wine goes with which dish when you get to try all the dishes and wines! It’s an evening not to be missed! Plan ahead for this one because registrations fill up fast! The event dates are set every 6 months, around end of April/beginning of May and end July or beginning August. You need to register for each event separately (so that we get an accurate headcount). There’s always something cooking in our kitchen so come back often to check out everything we have prepared next!

How to get there? Just go into our Main Entrance from the street, take the lift up and follow signs towards “The Brasserie”. The Apero & Cooking demo takes place on our top floor. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate contacting our friendly staff.

Enjoy test of Apero food & drinks in one menu!

Course 1 – Mixed Apero plate (served buffet-style)

Mixed Apero plate served with grilled vegetables, garlic toast and olives.

Course 2 – Seafood salad or Vegetarian salad (served buffet-style)

You get to choose between our Seafood Salad or Italian mixed Green Salad. Both are fresh, light and delicious.

Course 3 – Pizza (served hot and ready to eat)

Rustic Etruscan style pizza for 1 person, baked in our wood-fired oven.

Course 4 – Starter + Main course (served buffet-style)

Your choice of starter: Soup or mixed salad. Choice of vegetarian pasta with fresh tomatoes and basil or risotto with king prawns and spinach. Both are light and easy on the stomach making them the perfect dish after a day of drinking! Your main course will be grilled steak or chicken breast served with vegetables and fries or Mediterranean vegetables topped with breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese for vegetarians.

Course 5 – Dessert (served buffet-style)

Chef Marco Aurélio will show you how to cook this very simple dish which is a big crowd-pleaser. You will prepare and eat it with your hands, so only bring the people you enjoy being close to 😉

Panna Cotta with chocolate sauce

“Chocolate Panna Cotta is a wonderfully delicious recipe made from milk, cream and sugar with a small amount of gelatin. This rich dessert is not too sweet and may be served plain or topped with fresh fruit, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, etc.”

1. Heat the milk in a pot then add the cream and let it boil over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

2. Dissolve the sugar in 1/4 cup of water on low heat then add it to the boiling mixture.

3. Add the vanilla extract and stir well.

4. Pour half of this mixture into another bowl then add the chocolate. Add the chocolate to one of the bowls, mix well then pour it back into the pot.

5. Dissolve 1 envelope of gelatin in 2 tablespoons of cold water then add it to the chocolate mixture and stir through until dissolved.

6. Pour both mixtures into dishes or ramekins, cover with plastic-foil then let them cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

7. Serve topped with fresh fruit or any other desired toppings .

Panna Cotta is Italian cooked cream meaning “cooked cream” which can be either seasoned with sugar and lemon zest, flavored with vanilla extract, coffee beans, orange peel or cocoa powder or simply left plain depending on its final use.
